EUROMILLIONS winner Gillian Bayford’s ex had a “vendetta” against her and told pals she was his “pension fund”, a court heard.
Skint Gavin Innes, 45, allegedly boasted he was only interested in her £148million fortune before they became an item.
It came as Bayford, 47, admitted attacking her former partner in a row over babysitters.
The property tycoon confessed to shouting and struggling with Innes after he got a pal’s allegedly boozed-up son to look after her two kids.
She also admitted pushing him in her 4X4 motor in Dundee a few days later before having tea with his mum and sister.
It was claimed Innes turned against Bayford and started posting malicious comments anonymously online following their split.
The multi-millionaire solicitor claimed she had been through “hell on earth”
Murdo MacLeod said: “The accused had heard that the complainer had said prior to meeting the accused that she was going to be his pension fund.”
“It’s clear a vendetta is being pursued against Mrs Bayford. False allegations have been made repeatedly both to the golf club where she’s a member and more disturbingly Angus Social Work department and the NSPCC.
“This resulted in parallel investigations which were both distressing and completely unfounded.”
Bayford was supposed to go on trial accused of assaulting her ex at her luxury home and in her car in Dundee - but the case was dropped after she pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner.
Mr MacLeod said he’d made prosecutors aware he intended to prove that Innes was responsible for the vile social media comments about his client.
He said: ““That would have been an important part of this trial. It was simply to show in all likelihood that the author is the complainer under a pseudonym.
“It shows the strain Mrs Bayford has been under over this period. It has been a torrid time for her. In particular the allegations about her and her children.”
Dundee Sheriff Court was told Bayford and Innes became a couple in June 2017 after he got in touch with her over a school reunion - but things then became sour after four months.
In October they were said to have met at her plush pad and began bawling at each other.
Prosecutor Gavin Burton said: ““They were shouting. The complainer has then gone to sit on the stairs. The accused asks the complainer to leave and goes into a struggle with him.”
Mr McLeod said: “It’s fair to say she bitterly regrets having a relationship with this man and her conduct on these two occasions. She has asked me to say sorry.”
After the hearing Innes denied posting the comments about his rich ex online, or boasting about using her for her cash.
He said: “I’m too immature to think about pension funds. That’s not something I would say. There’s been anger from me but no vendetta. Although I forgave Gillian some time ago. I had to because it was swallowing me up.”

He added: “Having to come to court to face it and not going on holiday to run away from her problems was something I think she had to go through.
“She has obviously paid for a lot of time with a solicitor which is what she was used to doing when I was with her.”
Bayford was married to hubby Adrian and living in England when they scooped their jackpot EuroMillions win in 2012.
