TOMMY Robinson has been charged with assault after being arrested for allegedly "smacking" a holidaymaker in the face at a Center Parcs swimming pool.
The far-Right leader is said to have clashed with the male at the resort in Woburn Forest on Sunday.
Tommy Robinson was today charged with common assault and is due to appear at Luton Magistrates' Court on April 2.
Footage shows Robinson wearing swimming shorts as he explodes at police officers for "nicking" him.
He is also seen being held back by cops during the foul-mouthed tirade near the Center Parcs' tropical dome.
The ex-EDL leader - real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon - had accused a male holidaymaker of an offence before "smacking" him in the face.
POLICE PROBE
The Sun revealed cops were scrambled to the pool during the alleged bust-up at around 1.10pm on Sunday as stunned families watched on.
The holidaymaker was given medical treatment at the scene, but did not need to be taken to hospital.
A spokeswoman for Bedfordshire Police said: "We were called at around 1.10pm on Sunday (1 March) to a report of an altercation between two men at Center Parcs, Woburn Forest.
"One man sustained an injury to his face, and received first aid at the scene."
Center Parcs UK added: “I can confirm that an incident occurred at Center Parcs Woburn Forest on Sunday afternoon to which the police attended.”
'GINGER COWARD'
Robinson was released from jail in September last year after just 66 days at Category A prison Belmarsh, which has been home to Britain's most grisly inmates including Soham killer Ian Huntley.
But the motormouth extremist, who previously complained he was being held like a "caged animal" at the Thamesmead nick, was held in solitary confinement for his own safety.
He walked free last year and branded himself a "ginger cowardly convert" as he emerged with a full-on beard and long hair.
And he immediately began ranting about his sentence when he was released - claiming it was an "embarrassment against the government".
ROBINSON CAGED
The Old Bailey found he jeopardised a grooming trial by live-streaming men accused of the sexual exploitation of young girls on Facebook, in breach of a reporting ban, outside Leeds Crown Court in May 2018.
He was jailed for six months for the Leeds contempt, plus three months for an earlier contempt committed at Canterbury Crown Court in 2017.
The extremist had already served ten weeks in prison so was due to be released on licence halfway through his jail term.
As he was jailed in July, Robinson reportedly flashed a V for Victory sign to the public gallery and winked as the judge's decision was handed down.
His immediate incarceration sparked violent protests as supporters hurled smoke bombs and attacked a BBC camera crew.
