Meghan Markle and Prince Harry rumoured to appear at Oscars tonight but source claims they ‘turned down invitation’

It has been rumoured the prince and former actress could even appear on stage to present Best Film or Documentary.

But a !: "They were honoured by the request, but declined the invitation."

It comes after it was claimed Meghan, 38, and Harry, 35, enjoyed a dinner with  and her fiancé  this week.

Harry and Meghan had been at JPMorgan’s Miami billionaire’s summit, where 

The summit, which was attended by the likes of Patriots owner Bob Kraft and billionaire philanthropist Robert Frederick Smith, was Harry and Meghan's first public appearance since they quit the British royal family.

During his keynote speech, Harry told American bankers he has been in therapy for seven years to cope with loss of his mother, Princess Diana.

And it has since emerged that he and his 38-year-old wife could have been paid close to 

The couple were reportedly flown on the JPMorgan private jet from Vancouver to Palm Beach, where they’re said to have stayed at the home of Meghan’s longtime friend, tennis legend Serena Williams.

Harry and Meghan have remained friends with A-listers since stepping back as royals and moving to Canada to start their new life.

They had already invited celebs including Oprah, George and Amal Clooney and Tom Hardy to their stunning wedding in Windsor in 2018.

They had been lying low with baby Archie at a £10.5million Canadian mansion on Vancouver Island after quitting as working royals last month.

Suggestions the couple are considering making LA their new home comes after it was reported Meghan is looking for an agent in a possible return to showbiz.

It was claimed she is actively looking for representation after she and Harry declared they wanted to become "financially independent" as they quit the Royal Family.

A source told  the 38-year-old is "actively looking" for a manager or agent for future projects.
