MEGHAN MARKLE is planning ‘world domination’ after she and Prince Harry announced they were stepping down as senior royals, a top publicist has claimed.
But the Duchess of Sussex won't do lots of paid commercial work immediately to avoid looking like a ‘gold digger’, it is claimed.
Meghan, 38, and Harry, 35, plan to become financially independent after setting up a new home in Canada away from royal life.
Since the couple quit as senior royals and announced they will live abroad, the world has been waiting to see how they will earn money.
A high-level publicist told New York Magazine: “The plan has to be world domination, though I don’t think she’ll do a lot of commercial stuff for a while, because she wants to prove the British wrong that she’s just a brat and a gold digger.”
WEDDING PLANNER?
Meghan was almost offered a job doing the handwritten lettering for the table menus at a pal's wedding, it is claimed.
The Suits star is said to have begged to do the calligraphy for the place cards at Elle editor Justine Harman's nuptials.
Harman wrote to her wedding planner, saying: "This is really random, but I met with the actress Meghan Markle from Suits and she does amazing calligraphy.
“She offered to do my place cards for the wedding, which I assured her she doesn’t need to do! However, she is really eager to help out!

"Perhaps she could do the table menus?”
Before meeting Harry, the then-Hollywood actress Meghan asked pals to introduce her to single tech entrepreneurs, New York Magazine reports.
Meghan is also said to have been banned from running her personal Instagram page before marrying Harry in May, 2018.
Kensington Palace said at the time Meghan was 'grateful to everyone who has followed her social media accounts over the years' but had closed them 'as she has not used these accounts for some time'.
As speculation over Harry and Meghan's future financial arrangements builds, Kim Kardashian's endorsement firm has claimed it is taking offers for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
In an Instagram post yesterday Sheeraz Inc. told global clients to send in requests to them to tout to the royals.
