The trio were found dead at their home in Parsons Court in Newcastle, west Dublin, by their distraught dad Andrew and the emergency services on Friday night.

The children’s mum, Deirdre Morley, a nurse at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital in Crumlin, remains in hospital after she was found disorientated outside the property.

As the people of Newcastle continue to come to terms with the tragedy, Andrew was comforted by pals as he returned to the property for the first time today.

He was embraced by a pal and looked at the dozens of flowers left at the scene since the weekend.

One local parent told us: “It was hard to see him being back because no-one quite knows what to say to him.

"What do you say to someone who has just lost his three children?

SCHOOL TRIBUTE

“He was very brave in going to Mass on Sunday and showed his bravery once again by returning to the family home.

“He went back to the place where his kids died and there aren’t too many people who could do this.

"The whole thing has been horrendous and everyone is just in a state of shock and disbelief.

“The community will no doubt do what it can to support him and his family.”

Tributes continued to pour in for the three children today, as Conor and Darragh were .

Scoil Chronain in Rathcoole has been left "deeply saddened" after the tragedy.

The school said in a statement: “It is a tragedy for our community.

"Our sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with the McGinley and Morley families and all their friends.

"They were both wonderful boys and it was a pleasure to have them in our school. They will be greatly missed by all who knew them.

“Offers of support have been pouring and are really appreciated.”

It’s understood the children may have been drugged and suffocated.

A second grim note warning “the children were facing a life of nothing” .
