Thug attacked bus driver who turned on the lights while he was having sex on the back seat
A YOB attacked a bus driver who refused to turn off the lights while he was having sex on the back seat.
Bradley Sherratt, 20, began romping with a girl on the late night journey and yelled to the driver to turn off the lights for some privacy.
But when the back seats began “rocking”, the driver became suspicious and switched them back on.
Sherratt’s friend Owen Cooper, also 20, was sitting towards the front of the bus and accused the driver of “perving”.
The pair then confronted the driver and Sherratt punched him on the cheek and tore his name badge off his uniform.
He tried to kick them off the bus from Nottingham to Derby but they refused and so in fear he drove to the depot instead.
Sourthern Derbyshire Magistrates heard he was then attacked twice from behind as he tried to alert other staff during the incident on January 4.
In a statement, the driver said: “It has left me injured and upset.
“I have never had any issues with the public. I love my job but now this has happened I do not know whether to continue working.

“I have never had to look over my shoulder and I shouldn’t have to think like this. I want to feel safe while working.”
The two men from Derby admitted assault and threatening behaviour and were both given 12 month suspended jail sentences.
Cooper was also sentenced to 180 hours work and Sherratt got 200 hours. They were each ordered to pay £307 in costs.
