It comes after Prince Harry, 35, and his wife Meghan Markle, 38, stepped back as working royals and split their time between Canada and the UK.

Many were quick to spot that it looked like Prince Harry already bagged a job not long after vowing to become financially independent.

One said: "Good to see the Duke of Sussex has already found work."

Another added: "Fair play to Harry, he didn't hang about on his mission for financial independence."

One made a clever pun and said: "He's a handy guy."

One added: "Bloody hell Prince Harry found a job quickly."

In the latest development, senior royals are reportedly up contingency plans to provide the Duke and Duchess of Sussex a haven in the UK amid fears the paparazzi in Canada could drive the couple back to England.

According to the , courtiers fear the pressure of the media on Vancouver Island will have a negative impact on the couple.

A source close to the Royal Family, said: "The palace are very worried about the Sussexes, because they are vulnerable outside the embrace of the family.

“They are making contingency plans in case the Sussexes suddenly turn round and say: ‘Can we come back under your wing?’”

Last week, Buckingham Palace announced the details of their Megxit deal, including what the royal couple have to give up and what Her Majesty is going to let them keep.

Under the new agreement Harry and Meghan will have to repay the £2.4million spent on Frogmore Cottage by taxpayers and it "will remain their UK family home".

The Sussexes said they will split their time between the two countries.

They will now be known as Harry, Duke of Sussex and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and "will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family".
