Who is Danny Tetley?
The 40-year-old was on Pop Idol in 2001 before making it to the semi finals of X Factor in 2018.
He was mentored on the show by Robbie Williams’ wife Ayda.
He is an actor and singer from Bradford.
He has been singing in the bars of Benidorm for years.
Danny was turned down by Simon Cowell back then, causing his dreams to come to an end.
Looking back at his failed Pop Idol attempt, Danny confessed: "I did try for Simon many years ago on a TV show called Pop Idol, not a lot happened, it’s why I’m back here.
"Simon was very nice but back then it was a very image-led business."

In 2018, Tetley said that he was gay.
He was on a trip with his dad in Los Angeles in 2001 and the pair both accidentally stumbled into a gay bar.
It was then that he told his dad about his sexuality, which resulted in his dad disclosing the same information.
He has no children.
What did Danny Tetley do in Benidorm?
He also made a singing cameo appearance in ITV sitcom Benidorm in both 2017 and 2018.
