Olivia Colman plays Queen Elizabeth II
The Oscar-winner will once again take on her role as the Queen for her second and final season on the show.
Olivia took over from Claire Foy who played the Queen in the first two series of the show.
She won an award for her work on the Netflix drama as she received a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV series.
Tobias Menzies plays Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh
Tobias will return to play The Queen's wife, Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip.
In series one and two the Duke was played by Matt Smith.
The actor is probably best known for playing Frank and Jack Randall in .
Helena Bonham Carter plays Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon
The actress will once again feature in her role as the Queen's troubled sister Princess Margaret.
The fourth series will see The Countess of Snowdon face life as a divorcee.
Helena is perhaps best known for playing the character of Bellatrix Lestrange in the Harry Potter films.
Emma Corrin plays Lady Diana, Princess of Wales
Emma Corrin is a new face to the cast as the young and beautiful Princess Diana.
She would go on to marry Prince Charles and have sons William and Harry, but she is destined for sadness.
Emma, 24, is set to star in new movie Misbehaviour.
The actress, who is delighted to be joining the show, said: "Beyond excited and honoured to be joining The Crown for its fourth season.
"I have been glued to the show since the first episode and to think I’m now joining this incredibly talented acting family is just surreal."
Josh O’Connor plays Prince Charles, Prince of Wales
Fans are likely to see Josh play a major role in series four, which will focus on his marriage to Princess Diana.
Charles of course is Queen Elizabeth’s eldest son and the heir to the British throne.
Josh featured with Keeley Hawes in ITV drama The Durrells, playing her character’s eldest son Lawrence.
Charles Dance as Lord Louis Mountbatten
In the new season we will see the actor's time on the show come to an end, as his character will be assassinated by the IRA.
Dance, 73, is known for his role in Game of Thrones, as well as The Jewel in the Crown and The Golden Child.
Marion Bailey plays Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother
The stage actress will return to star as the Queen's and Margaret's opinionated mother.
The Queen Mother was the wife of King George VI and while he died at 51, she went on to live until the age of 101 and was viewed as the patriarch of the Royal Family.
The actress also starred alongside Timothy Spall in Mr Turner, playing the character of Sophia Booth.
Erin Doherty plays Princess Anne
The actress will return to her role as the Queen's daughter, who we will see get married in the new series.
Princess Anne is a lover of horse-riding and became the first member of The Royal Family to compete at the Olympics.
Doherty made a guest appearance in BBC's Call The Midwife and played Fabienne in the TV adaptation of Les Misérables.
Gillian Anderson plays Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher
The iconic star joins the cast as the highly controversial PM Margaret Thatcher.
She became the first female to be Prime Minister in the UK in 1979 and left office in 1990.
The American is known for her role in the X-Files and Netflix show Sex Education.
Emerald Fennell as Camilla Parker Bowles
Emerald will return to star as Camilla.
Camilla is the Duchess of Cornwall and is the second wife of Prince Charles.
Camilla married British Army officer Andrew Parker Bowles, who she had two children with, but they divorced in 1995.
She is best known for executive producing the second series of the BBC series Killing Eve.
Geoffrey Breton plays Captain Mark Phillips
Another new face to the cast, Breton will play the equestrian military man Captain Mark Phillips.
He marries Princess Anne and refuses to use a royal title.
The actor is perhaps best known for his time on ITV crime drama Blue Murder.
