The 59-year-old royal was driving to have lunch with the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh at Wood Farm in Wolferton.

Andrew, who has forced to step back from his royal duties over his friendship with dead paedo Jeffrey Epstein, looked tense as snappers spotted him after spending the morning shooting with friends.

He was dressed in a winter jacket and flat cap and had a male friend in the front passenger seat.

It comes after the royal's car crash BBC Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis over his links with the disgraced financier Epstein.

and then-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell visited Prince Andrew in 2000 at the Sandringham Estate.

Andrew described it to Ms Maitlis as a “straightforward shooting weekend".

During the interview, Andrew said he never met Epstein's alleged-sex slave Virginia Roberts, who claims she was trafficked to London to have sex with the Duke.

The royal also denied accusations that he sweat profusely and that the pair danced at Tramp nightclub in Soho, saying he suffered from a medical condition at the time which prevented him from sweating.

Andrew claimed he did not go to Tramp nightclub because he was at a Pizza Express in Woking with one of his daughters.

The Queen's third son also cast doubt on the authenticity of a photograph that showed his arm around Ms Roberts' waist in Ghislaine Maxwell's London flat, but admitted it would be difficult to prove if it was fake.

He told Ms Maitlis he would cooperate with the FBI if they wanted to question him about his friendship with Epstein.
