Neighbours fuming as mum-of-two moves into shipping container and two caravans on drive so she can rent out £170k home
FUMING families claim a neighbour from hell has turned their street into a "traveller camp" after using a shipping container on her lawn as a makeshift extension.
The huge steel structure with a wooden box plonked on top has been dumped in Lillie Goddard's front garden along with two caravans.
Raging neighbours claim the mum-of-two is living in the container while renting out her £170,000 detached home in Swindon.
And they say the 44-year-old has been "confrontational" - leaving them no choice but to contact the authorities over the "monstrosity".
But she claims she is "doing the best I can" after being forced out the home when it was deemed unsafe.
Jo Wilson, who lives opposite the property, said: "People have complained about this for months but nothing's been done.
"They request that I just wave a magic wand and make money to resolve the situation quicker then my ability."
Swindon Borough Council has now agreed to investigate and said that early inquiries found that "planning breaches may have occurred".
