Infant ibuprofen sold at Walmart and Family Dollar was recalled after some meds had ‘higher doses’
A RECALL was issued for infant ibuprofen last year after a company found some of its batches had higher concentrations of the medication.
Tris Pharma previously recalled three additional lots of its Ibuprofen Oral Suspension Drops, USP, 50mg per 1.25mL from the CVS and Equate brands, according to the FDA.

There have been no other ibuprofen recalls since last January, and no serious cases of adverse effects relating to the recall have been reported, the FDA said.
The agency added that consumers shouldn't use the product, but instead throw it out or bring to the place of purchase for a full refund.
