Young parents heartbroken as 18-month-old son falls ill and dies three days after Christmas
A YOUNG family have been left heartbroken after the sudden death of their 18-month-old son - just days after Christmas.
Tiny Tot Ezra Goodjohn, of Stannington, Sheffield, had been celebrating the festive period with his family.
The little boy started to feel unwell a few days after Christmas and was rushed to Sheffield Children's Hospital on December 28.
According to the he died a few hours after arriving at casualty.
It has not been confirm what he died of but it is believed he may have developed sepsis.
His heartbroken mum Emma, dad Ryan, and sister Isla are struggling to come to terms with the sudden loss of the youngster.
Friends and loved ones have since rallied round the devastated family, setting up a in Ezra's memory.
In just two days the page raised more than £6,000 with donation continuing to pour in.

Close friend Ben Evans, who created the page, said: "Ezra touched the lives of so many with his cheeky personality and playful nature. Ezra was a big part of the Goodjohn family and to say he will be missed is an understatement.
"As close friends of the family we have set this page up to help raise money to support the family through this very difficult time.
"We are aware that nothing we can do will help ease their pain but we feel that by financially supporting them it will help them in the short term so they can continue to be the loving family that they are."
