Girl, 2, shot dead and grandma injured after ‘gunman fires through bedroom window’

A TODDLER was shot and killed and her grandmother was injured after stray bullets pierced their bedroom window, police say.

Two-year-old Riah Janae Thomas was allegedly shot dead after an unknown gunman fired shots through the window of the home she and her grandmother were in early this morning in Oklahoma, KOCO reports.

The boy was fatally shot in the upper torso and chest while her and three other children were sleeping in the house, police say.

His 27-year-old mother was allegedly shot in the arm and sustained multiple graze wounds to her face.

The four-year-old and his mom were taken to a local hospital, where he was tragically pronounced dead.

Police say they haven't taken anyone in custody regarding the shooting.
