Girl, 2, shot dead and grandma injured after ‘gunman fires through bedroom window’
A TODDLER was shot and killed and her grandmother was injured after stray bullets pierced their bedroom window, police say.
Two-year-old Riah Janae Thomas was allegedly shot dead after an unknown gunman fired shots through the window of the home she and her grandmother were in early this morning in Oklahoma, reports.

Police raced to the house near Hefner and Western Avenues in Oklahoma City after gunshots were allegedly heard in the area.
Cops found Riah and her grandmother wounded inside a bedroom and rushed them to the hospital, where the toddler succumbed to her injuries and died, police said.
The shooter is still at large, and authorities say they don't yet have a description of the assailant.
Riah's devastated mother posted a series of heartbreaking tributes and messages on social media Monday morning.

"I can't even see my baby rn , touch her while she still warm no nothing I'm real life hurtting [sic] rn," she wrote.
"This can't be real mannn."
"My baby had more life and happiness then [sic] I've ever seen in a child."
Several posts showed her anguish to the pain of losing "her everything."
"God please wrap your arms around my baby please I beg you I BEG YOU PLEASEEE NOT THIS WAY LORD."
"I JUST WANNNA SCREAMMMMM. OMGOSH."
She also shared a seemingly prescient post at the time of her daughter's killing.

"My body is hella cold," she wrote.
A four-year-old boy was also shot and killed early Monday morning when he was hit by gunshots fired into an apartment complex in Gary, Indiana, police told .
The boy was fatally shot in the upper torso and chest while her and three other children were sleeping in the house, police say.

His 27-year-old mother was allegedly shot in the arm and sustained multiple graze wounds to her face.
The four-year-old and his mom were taken to a local hospital, where he was tragically pronounced dead.
Police say they haven't taken anyone in custody regarding the shooting.
