The savage actress and dancer left Gabriella permanently scarred and needing three months of tetanus shots to avoid infection.

But she today walked free from Reading Crown Court with a ten-month prison sentence suspended for 18 months.

Peereboom was also ordered to pay Gabriella £1,000 in compensation and £250 to a second victim Ciara Jones after being convicted of assault by beating and causing actual bodily harm.

The court was told Peereboom was with pals on the train when she launched into the "deeply unpleasant and animalistic" attack on August 18 last year.

SAVAGE ATTACK

Gabriella, 25, previously revealed how she had been dozing on the train as it came in to Reading Station but needed to move so she could change for Oxford.

But Peereboom had already began rowing with fellow passenger Ciara - with the thug then turning her attention to Gabriella.

The victim said: "I went to swerve around a commotion in the alley when my hair was violently pulled forwards from the chair. I kicked out and my leg was grabbed by the same girl who had my hair.

"I was bitten just above the knee which felt like for ages but it was about 15 seconds long. I screamed and was escorted off the train and she was kept on it."

Peereboom was arrested but her sentencing hearing was delayed by two months to ensure she found a job to pay compensation or moved to the UK from Amsterdam.

But she failed to do either - meaning she must compensate her victims from her personal savings.

Peereboom, who formerly lived in Harlesden, London and Chichester, West Sussex, was cleared of pulling the hair of a third woman.

The model appears on the platform StarNow where she states she is an "out-going person who loves fashion, keeping fit and doing her makeup."
