Judges put a lethal menace on our streets to arm himself and slaughter two innocent people
BRITAIN’S shambolic criminal justice system finds itself in the dock.
How could it have permitted London Bridge terrorist Usman Khan to stroll out of a high security prison and — while still wearing a tag — bring murder and carnage to our streets?
They were originally handed an open-ended sentence by a judge who warned that the “serious jihadists” would remain a danger for a very long time.
But naïve Court of Appeal judges led by Lord Justice Leveson were hoodwinked into quashing that ruling after Khan’s human rights lawyers said it was too harsh.
Shockingly, the Al-Qaeda-inspired extremist was automatically freed on licence without even undergoing a parole board risk assessment.
The police and public displayed exceptional bravery in curbing his killing spree.
But they should not have to risk their lives tackling monsters who have been allowed to run riot by our increasingly out-of-touch M’Luds.
How many other convicted terrorists are now roaming the streets thanks to the negligence of these bewigged buffoons.
Boris Johnson has consistently called for tougher sentences for serious crimes and it is clear the Tories are the only party determined to restore law
and order.
As Home Secretary Priti Patel points out, dotty Jeremy Corbyn even disapproves of the police using “shoot to kill” tactics against armed terrorists.
Never has there been more need for a Government that will put our security first.
Two-faced Remoaners
THE hypocrisy of Remoaner Labour election candidates is breath-taking.
Dozens standing in Leave constituencies have told voters they want to deliver Brexit.
But at the same time they have quietly signed a Remain pledge vowing to halt it if they win power on December 12.
They include permanently pleased-with-herself Jess Phillips, muddle-headed former Foreign Secretary Margaret Beckett and piously po-faced ex minister Chris Bryant.
No doubt they are following the example of their flip-flopping leader Jeremy Corbyn.

On Brexit, Jezza’s hapless attempts to sit squarely on the fence are looking increasingly painful.
In contrast, every Tory candidate has promised to support Boris Johnson’s deal.
The public will surely see through Labour’s dishonesty and cast their votes accordingly.
