They got fixed terms of 17 and 16 years on appeal.

Both are understood to have been automatically released halfway into their sentences —  meaning the three key players in the plot were free.

Khan "hoodwinked" authorities by travelling to the prisoner rehabilitation conference at Fishmongers' Hall where he launched his horror rampage on Friday.

One academic who was there told that Khan "suddenly just flipped".

Nine jihadists from three terror cells in Stoke, Cardiff and London were jailed at Woolwich crown court for the plot to bomb targets including the London Stock Exchange.

The others are believed to still be in jail.

Omar Sharif Latif, 35, got ten years, four months in  2012 plus five more on extended licence. Gurukanth Desai, 37, was locked up for 12 years.

'LYNCHPIN' IN THE TERROR GANG

His brother, 33-year-old Abdul Miah was jailed for 16 years and ten months.

Mohammed Chowdhury, 29, who was described as a “lynchpin” in the terror gang at the 2012 trial, had boasted about launching a “Mumbai-style” attack at the Houses of Parliament.

Fellow London-based plotter Shah Mohammed Rahman, 35, was also caged for 12 years.

Mohibur Rahman, 35, from Stoke-on-Trent was released from jail after being given a five-year sentence for the 2012 bomb plot

But in 2017 he was jailed again with two other Islamists, who called themselves The Three Musketeers, for planning another terror outrage.
