Have investigators found Jimmy Hoffa's body?
New information came to light recently after a deathbed confession from a landfill worker, Paul Cappola, who confessed to his son, Frank, in 2008.
His son came forward and told his father's story to Fox Nation before he died in 2008. He said his father told him he had buried Hoffa's body in a New Jersey landfill.
According to Cappola's son, his father was ordered by a group of men, who did not identify themselves, to kill Hoffa and bury his body underground inside a steel drum.
"He was very upset about it his whole life," Frank Cappola said. "He was told to do it. My father was not a wise guy or a tough guy. He was a businessman.
"But he had to be put in that position because if you don't do it, they are going to do it to you."
The search for Hoffa's body is now underway as investigators dig 15 feet below ground at the landfill. Fox Nation reported the FBI was awarded to begin digging in search of Hoffa's remains.
Fox Nation revealed the information in the series, Riddle: The Search for James R. Hoffa, claiming Hoffa was killed in Detroit, Michigan, and then shipped to New Jersey in a 55-gallon drum before being buried at the New Jersey landfill, Moscato's Dump.
"I would bet my life on it that he is still there," Frank Cappola told Fox Nation in 2020. "This is going to lead up to finding him."
