EX-Crystal Palace striker Neil Shipperley flashed and performed a sex act in front of a mum and her 16-year-old daughter, a court heard yesterday.

Shipperley, 45, exposed himself from a white van as they walked along a street.

Prosecutor Taranjit Rai said: “The defendant was driving along then stopped and wound down his window.

“They thought he was letting them cross the road. The victim turned around to say thank you and saw he was holding his penis and looking at her face.”

He said Shipperley then followed them in his van before stopping in Hayes, West London, and performing a sex act.

The mum and daughter went to a police station to report Shipperley — but he arrived and turned himself in.

Mr Rai added: “He apologised and admitted he had a problem.

“He said, ‘It was totally unacceptable and, for the record, I did not know she was a kid’.”

Shipperley, who also played for Chelsea, Southampton and Nottingham Forest admitted exposing himself.

But his lawyer Sarah O’Kane told Uxbridge magistrates: “He accepts that he had his penis out but was not masturbating in the usual sense of the word.”

Shipperley will be sentenced later.
