Books on jihad and chemical weapons studied by failed July 2005 bombers STILL on sale on Amazon and eBay
BOOKS on jihad and chemical weapons studied by the failed July 2005 bombers are still for sale on Amazon and eBay.
The gang botched Tube train and bus attacks in London two weeks after 52 died on 7/7.
Six were jailed over the plot. Cops found the books on a disc at their flat. The Sun on Sunday found three — Terrorist Target Selection, Jihad: The Origin of the Holy War in Islam and Chemical Warfare Agents — available on the retail giants’ sites.
Dr Alan Mendoza, of the anti-extremist Henry Jackson Society, said: “Sellers have given would-be jihadis potentially easy access to extreme literature.”
Brendan Cox, of Survivors Against Terror — whose MP wife Jo was murdered by a right-wing fanatic in 2016 — added: “The public would expect books like this on the dark web, not where they buy Christmas gifts.”
Tory Andrew Bridgen said the retailers must tell cops who bought the books.
eBay said: “These books are permitted on our site as they are not ideological assertions or instructions for illegal activity.”
Amazon said: “Our content guidelines for books prohibit illegal content.”
