Moment schoolgirl, 7, accidentally calls dad a ‘c***’ while practising reading for homework
A SWEET little girl accidentally turned the air blue - and left her family in stitches - while trying to get the hang of her homework.
Emily Kennedy, seven, was practising reading words with her parents when she stumbled over the word "clown" - accidentally calling her dad a "c***".
Her stunned parents burst into fits of laughter after her shock outburst - with the youngster soon joining in.
In the rib-tickling clip, Emily is sitting on the sofa alongside dad, John, who is encouraging her to read.
Working their way through the alphabet, the book contains pictures of things beginning with C - alongside the word missing a few letters.
John points to the book and says: "We've got one of these" and Emily replies: "Cat!"
As they move onto the next word, the dad adds: "Mum thinks dad's one of these..."
Emily then answers: "C***!"
John immediately puts his hand to his face as he falls back laughing - and mum Angela can be heard chuckling behind the camera.
Emily is originally none the wiser, and sits playing with her hair, but then joins in giggling with her parents.
Angela, 37, told the Scottish Sun that Emily doesn't speak in school, so they help with her work at home.
The mum-of-three, from Linwood, near Glasgow, said: "She's got selective mutism and doesn't speak to the teachers in school.
"She is very very funny. She comes away with some strange stuff but she is a funny wee girl.
"She had no clue what the word was."
The video has been watched almost 500,000 times on Twitter, and racked up nearly 30,000 likes and more than 6,000 retweets.
