Popeyes’ sold-out chicken sandwich is back next month in 150 locations across US
FAST food chain Popeyes is bringing back its famous chicken sandwich after selling out nationwide.
Franchise owner Guillermo Perales stated the return is set for early November but did not specify a date.
The now-notorious snack was so popular that the restaurant ran out of them two weeks after they were introduced.
Footage showed people queuing outside of restaurants as early as 5am in a bid to get their hands on one in August.
Popeyes stated that they never imagined the sandwich would be so popular.
We have been working diligently to bring the sandwich back to our restaurants soon, as we know our guests are anxiously anticipating its return.

Perales recently told : "The first time they weren’t ready."
In preparation for round two, they plan to hire an additional 400 employees to meet the demand.
They have also suggested that each of their 150 locations should dedicate two staff to solely work on the sandwiches.
The company wrote in a statement: "We have been working diligently to bring the sandwich back to our restaurants soon, as we know our guests are anxiously anticipating its return."
The sold-out sandwich sparked what was known as the 'Chicken Wars' as other fast food joints fought over their hungry customers.
During the peak of the Popeyes sandwich craze, people reportedly drove to different states in the hope of finding a sandwich.
One man even filed a lawsuit against the company for the damaging his vehicle and "false advertising" after he failed too.
