JAILED mosque killer Darren Osborne had boiling water thrown in his face in a suspected revenge attack.
Osborne is serving life for murdering a man and injuring 12 more by driving a van into worshippers outside North London’s Finsbury Park Mosque in 2017.
A source said: “The attacker ran into Osborne’s cell and threw the boiling water over his head, face and body. He was in agony.”
Osborne activated a security buzzer at high security Wakefield prison, which houses some of the most dangerous inmates in the UK.
He was treated in the jail’s healthcare unit for burns and blisters to the face and body.

The Wakefield prison attack came after Osborne assaulted Muslim Tariq Islam, serving 13 years for child rape, in August.
Osborne’s trial heard he was radicalised by a TV drama about Asian grooming gangs.
The dad-of-four was jailed for life after his trial heard how he boasted he wanted to “cause as much damage as possible.”
