A study revealed that 13 Sandbanks mansions were worth a combined £93m.

Monthly rents at Nile Court will be around £270 a month, with top floor ones setting renters back £320.

Thirty out of the 46 flats in the nine-story development will be available for council tenants.

Sixteen apartments will be sold on a shared ownership basis with housing association Sovereign Living.

They were built in partnership with Bournemouth, Christchurch, and Poole Council.

Council leader Vikki Slade said: “The flats are amazing and the views are spectacular, and you have to bear in mind they are almost all for local people on the housing register.”
