Southwark Lib Dem councillor Humaira Ali raged: "My constituents texted me this evening as a man was carted off to hospital, stabbed in Druid Street.

"They're angry and scared that our society is on the verge of snapping.

"Angry at politicians mismanagement, not being heard and fear for their family's safety."
