The video shows the fighter, dressed in a light brown sweater and glasses, with his famous left jab, before he is ushered away by two of his minders.

The victim barely moves after the shock attack and appears to remain unflustered during the incident on April 6, at the Marble Arch pub in Drimnagh.

McGregor was unhappy when the older man told him “I don’t want your whiskey”, sources have told the Irish Sun.

After the footage came to light, the fighter now faces a minor assault charge after the Director of Public Prosecutions ruled there was enough evidence to charge him.

He is to be summoned to appear at Dublin District Court next week, on October 11, facing a single assault charge under Section Two of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act.

It carries a maximum prison term of six months upon summary conviction, a fine of €1500 or (£1330) or both.

It’s understood that the alleged victim has accused McGregor of assaulting him when he turned down the offer of a drink.

TAKING OFFENCE

The Irish Sun revealed that the man had already ordered a taxi to go home with the punch was thrown.

McGregor, 31, entered the pub, greeted punters before ordering a bottle of his own Proper Twelve Whiskey.

The footage, published by US site , shows him giving out glasses and placing them in front of drinkers.

But the man then puts the glass on a ledge, indicating he was not interested in McGregor’s offer.

He allegedly told him: “I don’t want to drink that s***”.

The former UFC champ takes offence and places the glass in front of him again.

But the customer does the same again and it appears words are exchanged.

Sources claim that McGregor walked down the pub where he engaged with others before making his way back up. It was then he landed the innocent man with a smack.

But the alleged victim sat on the bar stool unfazed before finishing his pint and going home in the taxi he had ordered.

The Irish Sun understands McGregor was in the pub for less ten minutes.

The man, who is from the area, claims he was struck on the side of the head.

The man has made a statement to and this was included in the file sent to the DPP.
