GAFFE-PRONE Boris Johnson was left red-faced today as he accidentally planted a smacker on Andrea Leadsom in an awkward encounter at a Tory conference.
The PM lent in to peck the Cabinet minister on the cheek as he arrived to give his big speech to the party faithful.
But the pair lent the wrong ways and ended up bashing noses in an uncomfortable moment in front of the cameras.
The upbeat PM did not let the awkward brush knock him off balance.
He carried on shaking the hands of his male Cabinet ministers and greeting the women with a friendly peck on the cheek as he made his way to the stage.

The Labour boss and his shadow foreign secretary tried to brush off the incident by laughing for the cameras.
After sealing his brainstorming Tory conference debut as leader, the triumphant PM shared a less awkward kiss with his girlfriend Carrie Symonds.
Their rare public display of affection came after the PM delighted the party faithful with his pledge to “get Brexit done”.
