Shocking moment ticket inspector slams young man on to train tracks before pinning him to the ground

A SHOCKING video has emerged showing two tram ticket inspectors in Dublin wrestling a young lad onto the tracks before pinning him down.

An investigation has been launched after the clip came to light which clearly shows the men rounding on the schoolboy in front of shocked passengers in the Irish capital.

In the clip, the ticket inspector appears to slam the boy on to the tracks

The shock incident was captured by another passenger on the tram

The video appears to show the youngster with a backpack appearing to reach for a note pad or documents.

But one of the tram inspectors can be seen holding it out of his reach.

As the teen gets closer, on of them appears to restrain him by placing him into a headlock before slamming him on to the tracks.

The other man helps in holding him down.

The lad manages to get up onto the platform but is then pinned down again.

While on the platform, one of the tram workers can be seen using his walkie-talkie.

In the background a stunned passenger can be heard saying “this is… this is an abusive of power now”.
