Who is Ryan-Mark Parsons? Celebs Go Dating and The Apprentice star

RYAN-MARK Parsons is the youngest contestant to have been on The Apprentice when he appeared in the 2019 series.

He was just 19 at the time and now he is set to take part in Celebs Go Dating.

Who is Ryan-Mark Parsons?

Londoner Parsons worked as a luxury womenswear consultant before appearing on the BBC One show.

Although he was born in April 2000 he has claimed he's “a 60-year-old trapped in a teenager’s body”.

He is an award-winning public speaker and has said the Queen is his role model, admiring her "no-nonsense persona" so he's sure to be vocal on the show.

Parsons has since launched a career as something of a media personality, appearing on Good Morning Britain and is a columnist for the Daily Star.

When was he on The Apprentice?

Parsons appeared on the 15th series of The Apprentice in 2019, which launched on October 9.

He was 'fired' during the eighth week of the show and caused controversy in his exit interview by saying his fellow candidates were a "waste of space" and "desperate".

The show saw sixteen eager entrepreneurs compete against one another to become Lord Sugar’s next business partner.

What else has he done on TV?

Since being fired from The Apprentice, Parsons has made a number of other appearances on TV.

He made his first Good Morning Britain appearance on January 23, 2020 when he took part in a debate on whether Australia should sell koala fur to fund bushfire aid.

He advocated for selling the fur but his views were widely condemned by animal welfare activists.

Parsons has also made other controversial appearances on the show.

On August 4, 2021 is expressed the view that people who were working from home during the pandemic were "lazy".

He has also aired his views on RT and GB News.

Parsons has also taken part in a number of radio shows, including including Talkradio with Julia Hartley-Brewer, BBC Radio 5 Live: Wake Up to Money, and the BBC Asian Network.

On 14 February 2021, Parsons appeared on the celebrity series of BBC Three's Eating with My Ex.

When is Celebs Go Dating on TV?

Celebs Go Dating kicks off on E4 at 9pm on Monday (January 17, 2022).

The new series will air Monday to Fridays at the same time.

It is then available to watch on , after each episode has aired.

Sarah Tyekiff, Head of Unscripted Programming, Lime Pictures said: “It’s been a long time coming for our celebs to get back out in the real-world and date potential suitors.

"We can’t wait to see how their dating skills cope now they are outside the confines of their own homes and back out on the town.

"This brand-new series is going to be the biggest test yet as we set out to ramp up the dates creating more challenges and compatibility tests, putting our celebrities through their paces as they get closer to finding love.”
