Skoda's very tasty Octavia vRS 230 turns up the heat on the brand's iconic large saloon.

Often favoured by families or taxi drivers due to their reliability, affordability and efficiency, the Octavia has existed over four generations since the model was first introduced in 1996.

But the Octavia vRS, first released back in 2013, adds plenty of oomph to it.

Not only does it have the aforementioned 155 mph top speed, it can hit 62mph in just 6.7 seconds.

In fact, we found a 2016 example on the Autotrader website for £8,490 - and it looks spectacular.

While it does have 91,217 miles on the clock, it's said to drive "spot on" according to the listing, with "no mechanical issues" while the bodywork is "clean for its age."
