“Significantly all 10 regions saw YoY price drops in April, ranging from 2% to 12%, while most saw MoM improvements of up to 4%.

"This further illustrates how the monthly price drops we have tracked since December halted in April with prices across the UK increasing by 1%.”

Elsewhere, new data has revealed that thousands of drivers are being charged up to £250 to park outside their own homes under controversial rules.

And meanwhile, drivers have been urged to pick up a "dirt cheap" Toyota that’s been dubbed the "best used car" on the market.
