Driving experts gave their early predictions for their annual Car of the Year Awards.
Announced in January next year, the awards are some of most sought after accolades in the UK motoring industry.
Currently, the Kia Picanto is the front runner in the best city car category, earning high praise for its performance and comfort.

Drivers wanting to spend a bit more on their motor are being encouraged to splash out on an Audi Q7, with the motor tipped as the best luxury SUV on the market.
Another SUV highlights to be a favourite with families is the Volvo XC40.
