FOOTAGE has been caught of the horrific moment a van veers into an oncoming truck and is ripped open by the impact.
Taking place on August 28 in Ukraine, the driver was said to be sleeping at the wheel according to eye witnesses.
The van - which is emblazoned with the logo of shutter door and furniture company Euro Cierre - was reportedly driving along a road in Mylushi, a village in the Lutsk district.
The Opel (Vauxhall) Vivaro panel van is seen veering into a blue truck towing a digger on a trailer just after 10am.
Three people exited the vehicle, including a male driver as well as a female and male passenger.
Despite bearing the brunt of the crash, the driver is seen hopping out of the van without any assistance.
However, the two passengers are carried out of the car with the help of passers-by.
The woman, who was sitting in the middle seat, immediately collapses after getting out.
She was then lifted by the arms and legs to the side of the road.
Eye witness Zil Nicholas, who spoke to the passengers, told local television stations: "The driver was going from Lutsk to Kovel.
"I saw that the driver was moving strangely and crashed into the oncoming vehicle.
''We think that he had fallen asleep while he was driving.''
Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the State Emergency Service, said: "According to the preliminary information, there are no deaths.
"Passengers were hospitalised, all of them were conscious after the incident.
