Meghan Markle will learn to drive like James Bond in escape tactics crash course

Now that she is a fully fledged member of the Royal family, Meghan Markle will need to brush up on her driving skills with tactical training

MEGHAN Markle will learn to drive like James Bond now that she is a fully fledged member of the Royal family.

The Duchess of Sussex will have to undergo specialist driver training to help her get out of any potentially dangerous situations on the road.

According to tactical driving expert Mick Croome, all members of the Royal family are given a crash course on evasion and tactical driving techniques just in case they need to escape a hostile situation.

Having previously taught tactical driving to police and some of the Royal family, that the skills Meghan would learn were a last resort should she need to get out of trouble.

He said: "You're not doing this for any other reason than you have to escape.

"Training comes through in moments of stress.

"Ultimately, if you've got this in your back pocket as a last resort manoeuvre, then you've still got another option."

The Duchess will likely learn manoeuvres such as the J-turn, where the driver accelerates quickly in reverse, before spinning the car around 180 degrees to face the opposite way and continue in the same direction.

But considering the fact that Royals have their own 24-hour security detail and personal driver, it seems unlikely the former actress will get the chance to put her skills into practise should an emergency occur.

Following last weekend's Royal wedding, we reported on the car the couple chose to drive to their reception in.

The pair travelled to the Frogmore House after-party in a silver Jaguar E-Type Concept Zero - a modern electric car based on the 1968 British classic.

It was later revealed that the car previously belonged to tragic Jamiroquai musician Toby Grafftey-Smith.
