The 7,000 sq-ft plot in Malibu, California currently houses exotic Ferraris, McLarens, Paganis and other rare race cars.

These include multi-million pound motors like the LaFerrari, McLaren P1 and Pagani Zonda Coupe plus a one-off 600bhp Porsche Ruf Turbo Coupe.

It's the perfect home for these supercars as it is fitted with the latest air filtration tech normally reserved for art galleries.

Humidity and dust is controlled and there's hospital-grade anti-germ technology.

Although you don't get the cars, for $10million (£7million) you do get a bedroom, three bathrooms, gated entrance, a viewing podium and small kitchen.

That means you can even live in the garage if you can't bear to be apart from your dream motors.

Listed by estate agent , the site comes with an acre of grounds, too.

The stunning steel and aluminium garage that looks more James Bond villain lair than car lock-up actually has room for 25 cars.

"I contacted curators of museums and asked them, ‘How do you keep a painting for 1,000 years.'

"This facility has temperature control, humidity control, dust control, and anti-bacterial control. It’s essentially on par with a hospital operating room."

Goldman said he won't be selling the cars with the garage but if someone made him a good enough offer he could tempted.

He added: "If someone really wanted a couple of cars from the collection, it’s something I would reluctantly consider.

"I would just charge them the replacement cost."
