HAVING A BLAST

You can now own a £70,000 ‘personal torpedo’ that’ll fire you at 50mph across the water

Combining all the best bits from a jet ski, submarine and a fight jet, the vessel gives the ultimate water sports experience - but they don't come cheap

THRILLSEEKERS can now buy their very own "personal torpedo" to give them the ultimate water sports experience.

The jet-powered watercrafts, called Seabreachers, take all the best bits from a jet ski, submarine and a fighter jet to give the driver the ability to reach incredible speeds both above and below the water.

, the vessel can reach a top speed of 50mph while cruising along on top of the water, thanks to a 230hp supercharged engine.

Also able to be driven underwater, it can travel as fast as 25mph while diving up to six feet below the surface.

The Seabreacher manoeuvres like an aircraft, able to perform a full 360 degree roll and carve left or right to quickly change direction - and can also leap out of the water like a dolphin.

To add to their look, the manufacturer has made the machines available in three different trims, resembling a giant fish, whale or shark - all of which are complete with fins.

The driver uses two joysticks and two footpedals to control the watercraft's movements.

It can perform a range of stunts from barrel rolls to jumps straight out of the water.

But while it offers a thrilling new experience, the Seabreacher certainly doesn't come cheap.

The one-seater crafts cost anywhere from £56,000-£71,000, depending on the style.

Bond's jet powered vessel could barrel roll and cut through the water like a jet plane, but it could also travel on land.

The Hollywood spy had a number of high-powered watercraft, including a Lotus Esprit S1 that could dive underwater just like the Seabreacher.
