FERRARI has teased a new race version of its 488 GTB supercar.
The 45-second clip reveals what appears to be the long-rumoured 488 GTO - a 700bhp track monster.
Two cars are seen tearing round a track that bear a striking resemblance to the standard 488.
While the video is cleverly cut not to reveal too much, these screengrabs show what the car will look like.
The £180,000 road car appears to have been given an overhaul with new bodywork and trademark Prancing Horse racing colours.
Ferrari posted the video its official Facebook site with the comment: "New thrills are about to come".
That "to come" could be sooner than you think with a big reveal expected at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Details are closely guarded on the competition-ready car but its believed to be 10 per cent lighter than the standard car and produce 700bhp - up from 661bhp.
It's likely to get a racing gearbox, track tyres, an active wear wing and new air intakes with lashings of carbon fibre to keep the weight down.
Ferrari has a long history of making race-legal version of its stunning supercars.
The 360 got the Challenge Stradale, the F430 turned into the Scuderia and then there was the 458 Speciale.
The standard 488 GTB can top 200mph thanks to a twin-turbo 3.9-litre V8.
And its acceleration is equally impressive with a 0-62mph time of just three seconds.
