Performance Car Show and Autosport International has incredible lineup of cars

There are UK debuts for some of the most hardcore track racers plus some of the fastest British built models.

Highlights include the Jaguar XE SV Project 8, a McLaren 5070S GT4 and a unique V8 Ford Mustang.

The priceless collection will also showcase several special Ferraris including Michael Schumacher’s 2004 F1 car and the Ferrari FXX-K Evo track weapon.

Here’s our round-up of the rarest, sexiest and most expensive cars on show.

Ferrari FXX-K Evo

The ultimate Ferrari uses tech from F1 – but you can only drive it on track

This XX Programme car boasts a 6.3-litre V12 and an electric power unit, producing 23 per cent more downforce than its predecessor, the FXX-K.

Making its UK debut, this is the first time that an XX Programme car has been at an event outside of Italy, prior to its on-track debut.

Using expertise from within its F1 team, the FXX-K Evo produces more than 1,000bhp from its V12 powerplant and the track-only car produces over 830kg of downforce at top speed.

This is boosted by a twin-profile fixed wing on the tail, developed to work in seamless synergy with the active rear spoiler.

The twin-profile rear wing is supported by two side fins as well as by a central fin.

2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR

Latest GTI TCR gets a UK debut at the show

Making its UK debut is the 2018 Volkswagen Golf GTI TCR – a development of last year’s series-winning race car.

Created for customer sports racing, the GTI TCR is a hardcore track-only weapon, with wide body, 18-inch racing wheels and adjustable aluminium rear wing among many high-performance features.

Powered by a 2.0-litre race-prepared turbo engine, the GTI TCR is the latest development of Volkswagen’s extensive racing heritage.

Jaguar XE SV Project 8

Super saloon is most powerful ever Jaguar

The most powerful road legal Jaguar ever built – the XE SV Project 8 – will be in display.

No more than 300 Project 8s will be handbuilt, all with an astonishing 592bhp from a thunderous 5.0-litre supercharged V8.

It is sure to be an instant hit with crowds across all four days of the show, having recently been crowned the fastest production-spec saloon car to ever lap the Nürburgring.

Ferrari F2004

Legendary F1 car that took Schumi to title in 2004 is on display

One of the most dominant cars in Formula One history, the F2004 won 15 F1 races throughout the 2004 season, claiming a record-breaking seventh World Championship for Michael Schumacher.

The legendary driver also won a single-season record of 13 races and the F2004 still holds the lap record for seven circuits around the world.

Its 3.0 litre V10 engine was capable of close to 1,000bhp while the rear wing was made larger, the rear suspension was redesigned to reduce excessive tyre wear and the exhausts were made smaller, all for aerodynamic benefits.

Porsche 991.2 GT3

It’s one of the most sought after Porsche models

The GT3 – with its 493bhp Cup-derived 4.0-litre engine – continues the legacy of the Porsche GT models as unparalleled driver’s cars.

With its wailing 9,000rpm redline, class-leading chassis and suspension, the GT3 has quickly taken the top spot on many a Porsche wish list.

McLaren 570S GT4

570S GT4 is ‘the jewel in the crown’ of McLaren supercars

With its innovative carbon fibre construction, reworked exterior package, 562bhp twin-turbo V8 and a host of cutting-edge technology, the 570S is a jewel within the McLaren Sports Series line-up.

The GT4-spec aero package includes a large rear wing for increased levels of downforce along with a sculpted front bumper and large front splitter.

It also comes equipped with lightweight magnesium alloy wheels and Pirelli slick tyres.

Liberty Walk EU Ford Mustang

One-of-a-kind Mustang has huge V8 under the bonnet

One of the biggest names in supercar tuning, Liberty Walk EU is bringing its bespoke Ford Mustang.

The 5.0-litre V8 Mustang which boasts a 0-60 time of 4.6 seconds and power output of 418 bhp has the very latest 2018 kit specification, too.

BAC Mono

2018 model gets a public debut at the show

The Mono is the world’s only single-seater, road-legal supercar that’s earned plaudits around the globe for its blistering performance and one-of-a-kind characteristics.

The Liverpool-based manufacturer will be giving a public debut to the 2018 Mono that includes a whole host of new standard technology – including a lightweight, lithium-ion battery.
