SEMA 2017 Show: The best modified cars on show in Las Vegas from monster trucks to muscle cars
The biggest tuning festival in the world landed in the City of Sin this week with fans from around the globe drooling over the latest modded motors
SUPER-POWERED muscle cars, custom paintjobs and fire-breathing hot rods take centre stage in Las Vegas at the world’s craziest car show.
And the covers have been pulled off monster trucks and supercars at the 2017 SEMA Motor Show being held in the City of Sin this week.
Las Vegas has opened its doors to the annual real life Fast and Furious display with fans flocking to see the modded motors.
The convention is a celebration of the best aftermarket products and craziest cars around.
Major US makers like Ford and Chevrolet are joined by Toyota, Hyundai and Kia to showcase their wild designs using huge spoilers, outrageous bodykits and fat exhausts.
And the individual aftermarket suppliers also display their own creations using their expensive and unique parts.
You can’t buy most of the cars on display – even if you win big in the casinos – but if something proves popular on the show floor then makers have been known to put it into production.
The concepts are also designed to show just what’s possible if you go crazy on the option list.
And plenty of people do just that with the tuning scene worth a staggering £50billion worldwide.
We’ve picked out some of the highlights from around the show.
