Wheeler Dealers star Mike Brewer gives heartbreaking update on stolen Ford Fiesta that ‘vanished from face of the Earth’
WHEELER Dealer star Mike Brewer has given a heartbreaking update on a stolen Ford Fiesta that "vanished from face of the Earth".
In a heartbreaking video shared to X earlier this week, the TV presenter answered fans' persistent demands.
The beloved Fiesta Mk1 was originally snatched by thieves outside a hotel in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, back in June 2023.
It was taken just hours before Mike and co-host Marc Priestley were set to show off their restoration job for an episode of the show.
Mike had picked up the model for just £4,000 and the duo had only just finished restoring it - paying around £11,000 for repairs.
That included completely refitting the car’s engine with new water and oil pumps installed, as well as tweaks to its bodywork.

After it was stolen, Mike even offered a £5,000 reward to anyone who could tell him where the Fiesta was.
Although one point he even indicated he was happy it was stolen.
However, Mike told fans the Fiesta was still missing in January 2025.
A month on and the Wheeler Dealer has admitted "we're never going to find it".

In the video, posted on February 2, he said: “Thanks for all your messages, really appreciate it, just so you're clear the Fiesta hasn't been found.
“I've been asked that question for over a year now. If it had you’d be the first to know.
“But we’re never going to find it, it's never going to be recovered and we are not looking for it. So no Fiesta."
Comments from disappointed fans have flooded in.
One person said: "Gutted about the wee Fiesta.
"This was my first car when I passed my test… traded it in for a MII Fiesta shortly after. Loved those little cars."
Followed by a second: "Wow… although Mike, it was probably better broken up for parts so doesn’t exist anymore."
And then a third person said: "Such a shame that was a great car!"
The post has racked up over 25,600 views and hundreds of likes, but sadly, the search for the Fiesta Mk1 continues.
