A STRIKING 1966 Ford Mustang FIA is heading to auction where it's set to sell for £90,000.

The superb road-registered Mustang is finished in Wimbledon white with Guardsman blue Shelby-style stripes and no.33 on the doors.

The FIA papers are valid until December 2028, ensuring the car's compliance for years to come.

It also includes an extensive spares package, with details available upon request.

There is one black racing-seat and dashboard with a control panel of switches and dials and a V8 engine by Peter Knight.

The car is for sale with Iconic Auctioneers and will be auctioned on Saturday 22nd February, 2025 at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry, England.

“On offer here is a superb FIA Mustang built to a very high standard with a specification that offers versatility having competed at last year's Goodwood Members Meeting as well as being road registered (OGU 392D), consequently making it potentially eligible for Tour Auto,” states the listing.

“The specification is impressive, built by MRM Motorsport 2019 to full FIA-spec.

“Finished to a very high standard in classic Wimbledon White with Shelby-style stripes in Guardsman Blue."

It has a V8 engine by Peter Knight with MSD ignition and rebuilt 4-speed top-loader gearbox by Cobra Automotive.

The rear axle is a Ford 9" by Hauser Racing, featuring 11" drum brakes with 2¼" wide shoes.

The listing states that the Ford also features a "propshaft by IMS Ltd. and an exhaust system with Hi-Po headers running through a complete Tony Law exhaust setup.

“Front suspension, hubs, brakes are all Cobra Automotive parts.

"Roll-cage is by Custom Cages.

"Fuel-cell is a Fuel Safe unit with a brand new bag tank. New Gripper Mustang diff.
