A STRIKING 1966 Ford Mustang FIA is heading to auction where it's set to sell for £90,000.

The superb road-registered Mustang is finished in Wimbledon white with Guardsman blue Shelby-style stripes and no.33 on the doors.

It has a V8 engine by Peter Knight with MSD ignition and rebuilt 4-speed top-loader gearbox by Cobra Automotive.

The rear axle is a Ford 9" by Hauser Racing, featuring 11" drum brakes with 2¼" wide shoes.

The listing states that the Ford also features a "propshaft by IMS Ltd. and an exhaust system with Hi-Po headers running through a complete Tony Law exhaust setup.
