Major Audi dealership suddenly closes its doors after 15 years.. and no one knows why
A MAJOR Audi dealership is suddenly closing after 15 years of business - and no one knows why.
The owners of the showroom in Bradford, Yorks confirmed the news after weeks of speculation.
The company Sytner's website was updated with the message: "We're closed.
"We regret to inform you that Bradford Audi has permanently closed.
"Please find out alternative dealerships listed below."
The dealership currently remains open, but staff have been told to spread the news of the forthcoming closure to any customers, according to the Telegraph & Argus.

A skeleton staff is reportedly on site to handle pending affairs before the site shuts its doors for good.
It is not the first that customers have heard of the closure, after local car business JCT600 made a shock announcement on social media on November 8.
Bosses anyone who had been made redundant to apply for roles at JCT600.
The Facebook message read: "It’s been extremely sad to hear the recent news about the closure of Bradford Audi.
"For anyone facing redundancy or is open to work following these closures, we’ve got a range of positions available across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Derbyshire, and the North East with Technician vacancies, as well as opportunities in Aftersales, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and more."
However, staff at the dealership claimed this was nothing more than a rumour, according to Telegraph & Argus.
The news comes just a few days after a BMW showroom in Dorchester was also shut down after it was deemed "not viable" due to rising costs.
The stylish showroom employed a small workforce of 12 people - with some now facing the prospect of redundancy just before Christmas.
"We concluded that the dealership was not viable due to increased costs.
"Several colleagues will transfer to our larger Vertu BMW Mini Yeovil dealership, whilst some, who we will offer our support to, have been put at risk of redundancy.
"Customers can be reassured they will receive excellent sales and aftersales service from our Yeovil dealership."
The Sun has reached out to Audi and Sytner for comment.
