DRIVERS have been left baffled after discovering a hidden feature on their rear-view mirrors that has a surprisingly important function, especially for night time driving.
While many consider themselves seasoned drivers, a viral TikTok video has proven there's always something new to learn about our vehicles.
The clip, posted by user @chequanxiaoqiao highlighted the purpose of a small, often-overlooked button on car mirrors.
In the video, which has racked up over 800,000 views, she explains: "The lights of the rear car are too dazzling when driving at night.
"We just need to press this little wrench under the rear view mirror-you can turn on the anti-glare function."
This simple adjustment, also known as the mirror's anti-glare mode, is designed to reduce glare from the headlights of vehicles behind you.
