Hassanal Bolkiah has been Sultan of Brunei since 1967 and Prime Minister of Brunei since its independence from the United Kingdom.

He is said to have an estimated net worth is $30bn.

In photos that have never been seen before, the world caught a glimpse into the Sultan's excessive luxury car collection that he kept inside his 1,788-room palace.

In fact, it's estimated there are around 7,000 luxury cars, worth over $5bn lined up in Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah's garage.

Most of them are understood to be in untouched condition.

The collection includes six Bentley Dominators - the company’s first SUV - and the 1996 Bentley Buccaneer, a sporty coupé.

To add to the mystery, the Sultan had several cars made just for him; the Bentley Camelot, Phoenix, Imperial, Rapier, Pegasus, Silverstone and Spectre.

In total, the family own 380 Bentley's.

But the largest collection of all is the Sultan's Rolls-Royces.

His 600-car Rolls-Royce fleet includes bespoke and secret vehicles such as the Rolls-Royce Royale, Majestic and Cloudesque all big and extravagant limousines.

The Sultan's Silver Spur II has been seen more regularly than others but it is no ordinary Silver Spur - the exterior is 24-carat gold plated.

Other noteworthy cars include specially commissioned Ferraris – among them the 456 GT Venice and an F90 supercar commissioned in 1988 and the 1995 FX.

Rare but not bespoke Ferraris include the 250 GTO, the most valuable of all Ferraris and the F40, arguably the most exciting of all Ferraris. He owns 11.

Brunei's Buggati's are also a sight to behold.

His collection also includes the McLaren F1, Jaguar XJ220, a unique Brunei-commissioned Aston Martin Vantage "Special Series", a one-off BMW Nazca M12 concept and a Bugatti EB110.

Plus thousands of other wonderful cars, all garaged in a vast automotive palace with separate wings for the most important marques.

This very rare Ferrari built especially for the Sultan of Brunei is for sale in England for a staggering £2 MILLION. See SWNS story SWFERRARI; The F40 is one of the most iconic supercars ever built and the first production vehicle to be capable of 200mph. But the Italian company only built it in left-hand drive. However, the Sultan of Brunei, a world-renowned car enthusiast, persuaded Pininfarina to build seven F40s in right-hand drive. A pair of these cars were brought over to England in the 1990s by John Collins, a former journalist who runs the Talacrest Ferrari dealership, and he quickly sold them.
