Rocco, 24, used the vehicle whilst studying at the Royal Drawing School.

It was believed to be a present to celebrate his 21st birthday.

Madonna's was last seen posing inside the car in July this year.

The classic vehicle is just one of 5,137 made by the brand during a 24-month production tenure and has only clocked up 67,000 miles.

It boasts an eye-catching chrome trim, cream leather seats and features touchscreen technology beneath the dashboard.

The car is being sold by a dealer at Historics Auctioneers in Iver, Buckinghamshire and is expected to rake in £22,000 when it goes under the hammer on November 23.

Daniel Godin, car expert at Historics Auctioneers, said: "It’s such a pleasure to be offering for sale this wonderful piece of motoring and music history.

"Not only is it a rare and very collectible car in its own right but the fact that Madonna and her son Rocco are an indelible part of its history make it a real treasure.

"Doubtless the addition of the contemporary touch screen audio system added to their driving pleasure!”

Madonna is known to have owned several cars including a Range Rover SVA, a Dodge Challenger SRT and a Cadillac Escalade.

Guy Ritchie owns an array of luxury cars including a Jaguar E-Type, a Ferrari California and a Bugatti Veyron.

HOT ROD

Meanwhile, a stylist Lamborghini once owned by a legend of British rock music has sold for an eye-watering price.

The 1970s supercar is widely considered one of the most beautiful cars ever made - and is today considered a true icon.

The evergreen Lambo Countach LP400, one of only 157 examples of the first-series LP400 ‘Periscopio’ models produced, was once the prized possession of Sir Rod Stewart.

The Maggie May singer owned the retro supercar for 25 years - having first acquired it while touring Australia.

According to GQ, Sir Rod loved the 180mph car so much when it was delivered to him that he kept it inside his music studio for at least two weeks while he was recording demos for his Blondes Have More Fun album.

As he was in Australia at the time, he opted for a rare right-hand drive model - one of only 20 - but upon returning to Los Angeles, he took the Countach with him and had it converted to left-hand drive.

The listing states that the car eventually sold for €989,375 - which is roughly £840,000.

Sir Rod is a renowned petrolhead and collector of luxury cars, and recently sold a Ferrari F50 - one of only 349.
