Drivers blown away by 89p Tesco item in everyone’s fridges that defogs your car windscreen & keeps it clean all winter
AN 89p Tesco fridge essential can defog your car windscreen in seconds and keep it clean all winter, experts have revealed.
The handy trick could save you valuable time on chilly mornings - and help avoid a £2,500 fine.
The Met Office is predicting "gloomy" conditions this week, as bands of rain sweep in and temperatures start to slide.
And, with the clocks going back, Brits are staring down the approach of the colder, wetter part of the year.
One feature of the winter weather is plenty of moisture in the air, which can be a real pain for drivers.
When the damp air hits the cold glass of your windscreen, it condenses rapidly and causes the pane to fog up.

Not only is this irritating and time-consuming to deal with, it could also cost you big.
If you don't clear your windscreen fully, you could be pulled over for driving with an obstructed view, which can carry a penalty of a fine of up to £2,500 and three licence points.
Most modern cars now have a windscreen heating function to solve the problem, but this can take time when you're in a rush.
And with petrol prices over 130p per litre, whacking on the heating can burn precious fuel and make your car less efficient.

Fortunately, the team at windscreen wiper firm is on hand to share some cheap and easy hacks you can use instead.
You can actually do just as good a job of clearing your view using a common fridge essential - as odd as you may look while doing so.
It turns out that the humble cucumber is actually very effective at banishing fog.
The experts explained: "While it may look odd to take a vegetable out of your home and into your car, the natural compounds in cucumbers can help absorb moisture from the air and repel water droplets, making it great for preventing fogging.
"So, if you haven’t already got one in your fridge, grab one from your local supermarket, cut off a slice, and rub it over the inside of the glass.
"Leave it to dry, then wipe away the excess - it really is that easy."
Tesco sell cucumbers for just 89p each, with some smaller outlets offering them for even less.
Not only does this clear your windscreen quickly and cheaply, but it also forms a temporary protective layer on the glass, keeping it clean and preventing it from fogging up as easily.
It comes after a new map revealed the UK's speed camera hotspots, including one A-road that saw 17,000 drivers fined.
