I transformed UK’s smallest car into camper with 6ft bed & water tap – no one will know so you can park anywhere

The influencer was stunned by the epic transformation

A CAMPING expert has turned an unassuming small car into a great camping vehicle - and you won't need to worry about parking.

YouTube star 'Yeah, Love That' took to social media to sing the praises of his Toyota Aygo for camping - a notoriously little car.

the tiny motor into a "fully-functioning, off-grid stealth camper" complete with a "six-foot bed, cooking and cleaning facilities, electrics, and running water" for him and his pooch.

To carve out space for bedding and a cooking area, the content creator enlisted the help of his pal Ben to measure to remove the passenger seat and insert a base material for the amenities.

The influencer nabs a colourful futon he used to sleep on at his grandmother's house as a child.

Attention then switches to the cooking and cleaning nook, where Ben aims to fix together the stove, water tap and washing up bowl.

The former two will sit next to each other on the level above on a sliding mechanism, which can then be manoeuvred aside when the influencer wants to wash the dishes.

After snipping out some make-do curtains to cover the windows for privacy, the epic transformation is complete.

It comes as another YouTuber advised how to convert any hatchback into a comfortable micro-camper in less than ten minutes with no mess.

Content creator 'Faraway Porch' shared their top tips to create the ultimate mobile home on a tight budget.

He used a Ford hatchback model to demonstrate a quick, easy and effective conversion using only a length of wood, some camping equipment and some basic plastic boxes.

The first thing he did was fold down the rear seats to open up a large flat space in the rear of the motor.

This left just enough room for four large plastic tubs to be stacked in the footwells as ample storage for all the bare necessities for your trip.

Similar boxes can be picked up for around £6 each on Amazon, with a set of five costing just over £33.

Placing lids on these allows them to line up with the folded seats and create a level, flat platform up to the backrests of the front seats.

On this, he placed a study tarp, a camping mat and a sleeping bag, creating a makeshift bedroom in the back of the car.

CAMPER VAN SPIKE

Living in a camper van is a great way to save cash for a house, whilst still having your independence.

As the cost of living crisis continues to bite, more and more adults are struggling to get on the property ladder and are choosing to live in their family home for longer.

The 2021 census revealed that over half of people aged 23 and under still live with their parents.

The average price of a house in the UK was £285,000 as of March 2023, and this rises to a whopping £735,254, which is completely unaffordable for many.

Moreover, research from the Resolution Foundation found that the average first-time buyer deposit tripled from 5 per cent of the property price in 1989 to 15 per cent in 2019.

This means that buyers have to save for far longer and use up a larger percentage of their earnings to get on the property ladder.

Recent research by property site Zoopla found that 42 per cent of adults under 40 who do not already own homes have given up, due to the astronomical cost of buying a property.

This included 38 per cent of people earning over £60,000 (almost double the average salary for the UK).
