ELON Musk has unveiled a driverless robot bus EV - but fans have spotted an eerie similarity to an iconic kids' show.
Tesla's new Robovan can carry up to 20 people at a time and transport goods.
The prototype self-driving EV is roughly the size of a bus - but little else is known about it.
Musk revealed the Robovan at Tesla's We, Robot event in Los Angeles last night.
As it rolled onstage, he said: "We’re going to make this, and it’s going to look like that.
"One of the things we want to do – and we’ve done this with the Cybertruck – is to change the look of the roads."
Repeating an old manta, Musk added: "The future should look like the future."
The Tesla chief did not reveal how much the Robovan will cost or when it will come out.
Silicon Valley news website described the EV as "somewhere between a bus from the Jetsons and a 1950s toaster".
The Jetsons is a beloved Sixties cartoon dubbed a Space Age counterpart to The Flintstones.

The Robovan has silver metallic sides with black details, LED strips running along its side.
It also boasts tinted windows and doors that slide out from the middle.
Inside the EV there are both seats and standing room - but no steering wheel.
The version shown off last night is just a prototype and could be very different from the model which eventually comes out.
Tesla had previously teased a large EV at its 2023 Investor Day - presumably the Robovan.
It comes after Chinese carmaker WeRide launched a driverless Robobus.
