EV DRIVERS could pick up a hefty discount when charging their motor TODAY thanks to a major fuel giant.
September 9 marks the fifth annual World EV Day - which aims to encourage and support the public's transition to electric vehicles.
For the occasion, BP is offering EV owners a discount on charging - giving UK customers 15% off pay as you go charging via the BP Pulse app.
The discount is available to anyone who has downloaded the app, registered and added a minimum of £5 in credit.
The offer can be claimed when making a payment via the BP Pulse app, which you can be download on the App Store or Google Play.
The offer is valid until 11.59pm on September 9 on all BP's rapid and ultra-fast chargers.

It is not available on non-participating chargers.
Better yet, the BP Pulse app helps drivers find their nearest EV charging points across the UK.
It even gives road users directions from their current location using a live map.
EV owners can even create a custom map of their favourite chargers and filter by connector type and charging speed, while managing their charging with up to 90 days’ history and downloadable invoices.
